Brought in as a contractor to cover a temporary staffing shortfall, then hired as a regular employee. Providing mixed first and second level PC support - approximately 40% phone time, 40% customer visit, 20% projects. Responsible for support of Windows 2000, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 98, Windows 95, Microsoft Office 2000, Microsoft Office 97, Outlook 98, Internet Explorer, Visio, Novell Netware, McAfee VirusScan, Siebel 99, and Palm products. Provide backup administration for Novell Netware and Windows NT domain. Aid in the maintenance of the internal departmental website.

Began as a temporary to provide computer support services for a maternity-leave before being hired as a full-time Computer Support Specialist. Provide on-going software and hardware support to 280+ employees on 280 DOS PC's, 7 Sun SPARCStations, and 2 Data General Aviions. Responsible for tracking all computer hardware and software purchasing.

Non-Job Experience:

Operating a Linux server for the domain fireopal.org. Services currently available through the domain include mail, web hosting, and terminal access.
Operated a telecommunications conference center (Fire Opal, running BinkleyTerm front-end and Maximus, as well as various other utilities). Provide set-up, training and support for others in setting up home PC's, full-scale electronic bulletin board systems (BBS's), and single-person message exchange centers. At home, I have the options of running Windows NT 4.0, Windows 95, Windows 98, OS/2 Warp, or Linux.
