- Decided / Almost Certain
- Low Priority
- Uncertain
- Exclusions (Things that I do NOT want)
I intend to eventually purchase American Racing's GAMBLER 1-piece alloy wheels. (These will probably be a second set of wheels and rims rather than a replacement set.) The first reason for Gamblers is simply because I like their looks, and the second is, except for the backspacing and the center piece, it is the same as the wheel sold by Chrysler.

On these rims, I will mount a set of tires that will perform well on the trails as well as being good-mannered on the road. If they must be suitable for winter use is a decision I have not yet made. Here's the statutes for bumpers in MN: "169.73 Bumpers, safeguards".
Here's the statute for "169.733 Wheel flaps on trucks and trailers".
Here's the statute for lights is 169.56 thru 1xx.xx: "".
I'll probably have Rancho 9000 Shocks installed when my existing shocks wear out.
Custom mounting brackets so that I can re-mount the passenger's side step with a quick-release capability.
Will I get the chariot Rhino lined? Will it be the Lapis Blue, like the paint is now, or will I get a Gray that will match the carpet, cloth and plastic interior?
If I do, I'll have to get the Tuffy Center-Console Box installed at the same time... (nuts- MORE money!)
I might also be interested in Hi-Lift's "Slide-N-Lock" system.
There's one type of Hella lights that I may yet install.
The H4 might be the one I'm thinking of, or it may not...If I had to do it all over, I would be temped to get the "Black Magic" driving lamps, or driving lamps that are physically smaller in size.
I'll also probably install a product similar to Teraflex's "TJ Wrangler Steering Box Skid Plate Kit" {No. SBSPT}, priced at $59.95. Image (used to be) at: "http://www.teraflx.com/img32.gif".
A Winch.
On Monday, August 2nd, 1999 I had my TJ weighed. It's 1980 lbs. on the front axle and 2080 lbs. on the rear axle, for a total Gross weight of 4060 lbs, or just over 2 tons. Considering how much friction or drag a mud hole can be, if I ever do get a winch, I think it needs to have a capacity of 3 to 4 tons.
This is something I have not yet made my mind up on just yet. If I come across some super deal, well then MAYBE. But I'm certainly in no hurry what-so-ever on this item.
Terraflex's "The System".
Terraflex's "TerraLow"; this is just too hard-core for me and my wallet.
Thanks to my decision to stay with the 31" tires, I no longer need a Drive Shaft conversion such as the one at URL: "http://www.off-road.com/4x4web/jeep/reviews/swbjeep/jb_6sd/shortshaft.htm".
