Web Ramp for Macintosh OS Computers

Loading the software

1. Insert the compact disk into CD drive
2. Double Click on the WebRamp Installer Icon
3. Read the Welcome notes and click the Continue Button to move to the next screen
4. Click anywhere on the next window to continue
5. Select the Option "Full Install"
6. Accept the default install directory for the software and press the Install button.
7. You are now warned that your computer will need to be restarted after the install is complete. Press Yes to continue with the install.
8. Click the Restart button to finish the install.

Configuring the Dialer

1. Open the PPP control panel
2. Click on the button marked Config…
3. Click on the button marked Authentication
4. In the field Auth ID, add your username after the capital "P" If your username is jsmith, you would need to have Pjsmith in the Auth ID blank.
5. Type your password into the password blank only if you want your computer to automatically login to the internet without having to type in your password
6. Click the OK button to close the authentication button.
7. Click Done to close the Configuration window.

Installing Netscape

1. Open the Internet folder
2. Click on the Netscape Icon to install Netscape Navigator 3.0
3. Click on the Continue button
4. Click on the Install button to begin the install
5. Choose whether or not to install the LiveAudio Plugin
6. Press Quit to finish the install
7. Click the Continue setup now button to connect to Netscape and register your copy of Navigator, or Click on Don’t Ask Again if you don’t want to be bothered with registering
