What does a domain name cost?

We charge a one-time fee of $50 US to register a domain for you or your organization in the .COM, .ORG, .NET, or .US top-level hierarchies. You will then receive an invoice from the Network Solutions (previously called InterNIC) or other selected accredited registrar for $70 US for 2 years. So, your total costs for the first 2 years are $120 US per domain and then $35 US per year thereafter. When do I have to pay for these charges?

The $50 US registration charge from Infinity AccessNET is payable and due upon order of a domain registration. You will not receive the NET 30 domain registrar's invoice for one to two weeks after a domain is created. Many of those who receive their domain registrar's invoices do not, in fact, pay within the 30 days. We strongly recommend that you do however, as your domain name is such a valuable asset.
