In our continuing effort to provide state of the art services, we now have a new dialup number that is entirely digital and has 160% of the current capacity. This number will work for all existing dialup customers, and should yield better dialup connections. It supports all legacy modem rates up to 33.6k, as well as offering K56Flex service. Also, we will soon be supporting the recently announced ITU V.90 standard.

By April 23, each of our dialup customers must change to the new dialup number. The new dialup number for all twin cities modem connections is 612-253-5324.

Changing the dialup number on your computer is usually a straightforward process.

Windows 95:
To change and save the dialup number in Windows 95, double click on "My Computer" from the desktop, then double click on "Dial-Up Networking". Now use the right mouse button to click once on "Infinity AccessNET", and choose "Properties" from the popup menu. You should now be in the "General" tab of Infinity AccessNET Properties. Change the phone number to 253-5324. While you are here, if you have not already done so, please check the "Server Types" tab settings of Primary DNS and Secondary DNS and verify that they are 209.134.128.1 and 209.134.128.2, respectively. Windows 3.x:
If you are using Trumpet Winsock and Windows 3.x, double click on "Trumpet Winsock" from the appropriate group, and hit escape to stop dialing. Pull down the "Dialer" menu and select "setup.cmd". You will be prompted for a telephone number, change this to 253-5324, and hit OK. Also hit OK on the username and password boxes to keep the information the same. If you also have not already updated your DNS entries, also pull down the "File" menu and choose "Setup". Verify that the IP Address reads 0.0.0.0, that the Name Server reads 209.134.128.1, and that the Time Server is blank or reads 209.134.128.1, and click OK.
